2023 Fasting and Prayer Guide | Days 1 to 7


Day 1: Wednesday 1st February

Topic: Thanksgiving

TEXTS: PSALMS 136, 101, 105, and 1 CHRONICLES 16:8

Thanksgiving is the art of giving thanks to God through the demonstration or show of gratitude for His goodness and mercies. It is good to give thanks unto the Lord. Psalms 69:30 - I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

PRAYERS

1. Father, I thank you for the gift of life, because I’m not in the mortuary but in the Sanctuary of God.

2. Father, I thank you for the fulfilment of your promises in Psalms 91 and protection from all forms of noisome pestilence.

3. Thank You for your grace and mercies upon my life, family, friends, and our Church.

4. Lord! You said in everything give thanks (1 Thessalonians 5:18). I thank You for the good and everything in 2022.

5. Daddy, thank you for my past, present and for a glorious future starting from 2023 and beyond.

6. Father! Thank you for your thoughts towards me concerning 2023 (Jeremiah 29:11), for I know my days, months and year shall be Alright.

7. Thank You Lord, for the unprecedented victories we have enjoyed time and time again.

8. Thank You for the victories over all the “serpents and scorpions” that had withstood and confronted us as a church, families and individuals.

9. Thank you Lord that you have built your church and the gate of hell cannot prevail.

10. Thank You Lord, for many victories we have gained over sicknesses, deaths, sorrow and Pandemic.

11. Rejoice and praise God some mins for what He has done in 2022 and what he is set to do in 2023 and beyond.

12. Thank you, Lord, that despite all – I am a winner! We thank you Lord for:

•The salvation of our soul,

•Baptising us with the Holy Spirit,

•The fruits of the spirit working in us,

•All the ways You have intervened in our affairs,

•Your divine plan for our life,

•You will never leave nor forsake us,

•Bringing us to a place of maturity and deeper life,

•Keeping us in perfect peace,

•Making all things work together for good for us,

•Protecting us from the snares of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence,

•Supplying all our needs according to Your riches in glory,

•Your healing power upon body, soul and spirit,

•Always causing us to triumph in Christ Jesus,

•Your greatness, power, glory, majesty, splendour and righteousness,

•You are trustworthy and will help Your own,

•Not allowing my enemies to rejoice over us,

•Delivering our soul from death and our feet from stumbling,

•Your faithfulness and marvellous deeds,

•Your act of power and surpassing greatness,

•Your name is a strong tower, we run into it and we are safe.

Day 2: Thursday 2nd February (BIBLE STUDIES)

Topic: Quality and Intensive Worship

TEXT: Exodus 15:1-21, 2 Kings 17:36, 1 Chronicles 16:29

INTRODUCTION

We worship God for who He is. For His creation, power, majesty, dominion and sovereignty.

1. Continue to worship and praise God; the creator of heavens and earth and for Who

He is; Who he was, and for what He will forever be

2. Reflect on His greatness and worship in songs of worship in any known language

or dialect.

3. Psalm 5:7 — But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy

mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

4. Psalm 22:27 — All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

5. Psalm 22:3 — But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of your people.

6. Let us adore Him for His great and mighty works in all families of TAC Liverpool Assembly Exodus 15:11.

Day 3: Friday 3rd February

Topic: Mercy And Forgivenessbible

TEXTS: PSALM 51: 1-END, HABAKKUK 3:2

God created man in his image and likeness. Man was enjoying smooth fellowship with God before man sinned and fell short of the glory and mercy of God, but God’s thought towards man is of good and not of evil. God sent His only son, Jesus Christ to pay the price for the sin of man through His mercy, therefore as many that will confess and forsake their sins, the Lord is ready to forgive by His mercy. It is time to cry to God for mercy and forgiveness.

PRAYER POINTS

1.Father, please have mercy on me and forgive me my sin, in Jesus name. Romans 9:15

2.Father, let mercy reign over judgement in my life, in Jesus name.

3.Father, have mercy on me and forgive me my iniquities, in Jesus name.

4.Father, let your goodness and mercies follow me all the days of my life, in Jesus name. Psalm 23:6

10.Father, because your son’s blood was shed for me, use the blood of your son to cleanse me, in Jesus name. Hebrews 9:28.

11.Father, let my case with you be a personal affair, do not leave my judgement in the hands of my enemies, in Jesus name. 2 Samuel 24:14

12.Father, because you are the God of love and righteousness, forgive us our iniquities and show your people mercy, in Jesus name.

13.Lord, let your mercy be available for me and set me free from where the judgement of the enemy had tied me in Jesus name.

14.Oh my God, in the multitudes of your mercies please let me obey and serve you like I have never done before, in Jesus name.

15.Father, we ask for your mercies over every error we have committed in your church and our gatherings, in Jesus name. Psalm 85:2

Day 4: Saturday 4th February

Topic: Removing The Barriers To Answered Prayers

TEXTS: PSALM 66: 18-20; LAMENTATION 3:8, 44; JOB 27:9; PROVERBS 15:29, ZECHARIAH 7:13; JOHN 9:3.

1. Read Psalm 31:10 — Lord, give me total and timely victory over every iniquity that kills my strength.

2. Read Ps. 18:23 — Holy Spirit, help me to always be upright before God by keeping myself from mine iniquity.

3. Zechariah 3:4 — Lord, cause my iniquity to pass from me and clothe me with the garment of your righteousness.

4. O Lord, help me to operate under open heaven all through the year and beyond.

5. Pray for all our children and all students (Including the ones in the womb and the ones still in the loins; call the ones still in the loins to come forth in Jesus Name)

6. Pick 7 different members of TAC Liverpool church members and and Intercede for them

1. Praise God for all that He did for you in 2022

2. Father, January is the first month of the year. Thank you Lord, for seeing us through the month of January, for giving us miracles and testimonies, the first of its kind.

3. Father, February is the second month of the year. In February; double my blessings.

4. Father, March is the third month of the year. Three is a symbol of the Almightiness of God. In the month of March, show me your Almightiness.

5. Father, April is the fourth month of the year. In the month of April, from the four corners of the world, send help to me.

6. Father, May is the fifth month of the year. Five is the symbol of favour and grace. In the month of May, show me divine favour.

7. Father, June is the sixth month of the year. Six is the symbol of unexpected miracles. In the month of June, give me unexpected breakthroughs.

8. July is the seventh month of the year. Seven is a number of perfections. In July Father, perfect all that concerns me.

9. Father, August is the eight month of the year and eight is the symbol of a new beginning. In the month of August this year, give me a new beginning of everything; a new beginning of Joy, of blessings, of promotion, of a new anointing.

10. Father, September is the ninth month of the year and nine is the symbol of all sufficiency. In September this year, prove your all sufficiency in my life.

11. Father, October is the tenth month of the year and ten is the symbol of double grace. In October this year, let me have a taste of your amazing grace.

12. Father, November is the eleventh month of the Year and it is the symbol of exceedingly abundant. In November, do for me exceedingly, abundantly more than what I can ask for.

13. December is the Last month of the year, Father, in December of this year, crown all my effort with glorious success.

14. Father, your word for us in the Year 2023 is CONSECRATION, COMMITMENT & SERVICE; let me serve you more than ever before this year. In every possible way—in winning souls, in giving, in supporting the growth of your church and your Kingdom. Amen

3. Father, wipe away every tear from the eyes of every member of our church in Jesus name

4. Father make this year, a year of great things, multiple blessing and favour for everyone in our church

5. Every single person in our midst seeking your face for their own God given partner (Husband or wife), Father settle them speedily this year 2023 in Jesus name

6. Every family in this church trusting you for the fruit of the womb, Father answer them speedily this year 2023 in Jesus name

7 Father, every member of this church having immigration issues and trusting you for their own settlement in this land, Lord intervene and settle them in Jesus name

8 Every member of this church with long term illness and diseases, we command them to be healed in Jesus name

9 Father, we commit every marriage experiencing shame and discomfort or even at the point of break up, Lord intervene in these marriages in Jesus name

10 Every embargo upon the success of our children is lifted now in Jesus name

11 Father for everyone in our assemblies looking for job or willing to change his/her job, Lord give them job that will glorify your name in Jesus name
