Topic: Prayers for Purchasing Our Church Building Project
Prayer Leader: Mr. Popoola
1. Lord, I (we) want to thank you for the grace you have given me (and us as a church) to purchase a decent house of worship. We (I) believe and receive the builders anointing, in Jesus’ name.
But Zerubbabel, and Jeshua, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel, said unto them, Ye have nothing to do with us to build an house unto our God; but we ourselves together will build unto the LORD God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia hath commanded us. (Ezra 4:3, KJV)
2. Lord, we lay the foundation of this project on you, you are the foundation and you are the furnishing of it thereof also, in Jesus’ name.
For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 3:11, KJV)
3. Lord, my (our) heart(s) have conceived the idea and plan, our hands have started, our hands and hearts will finish it too, in Jesus’ name.
The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. (Zechariah 4:9, KJV)
4. Father, I pray that you give every member of our church the willingness and the ability to partake in this project, in Jesus’ name.
5. Yes, Father, inspire our hearts to build for you, give us the burden to build, make it a revelation and a call in our hearts so we may all go all out for it as one, in Jesus’ name.
Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering. (Exodus 25:2, KJV)
6. Lord, I pray that you bless with power, grace and progress, every member, family, business and ministry who you have called to this work– to execute this project for you, in Jesus’ name.
7. Lord, put money in their hands like never before, open financial doors all round for everyone you have called to this work, in Jesus’ name.
8. Father, I ask that the power of your Spirit go into the families, work and businesses of everyone you have called to this work for financial breakthroughs, in Jesus’ name.
But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. (Deuteronomy 8:18, KJV)
9. Yes, Lord, make a way for them with their finances, open doors that were hitherto shut against them, to the glory of your name, in Jesus’ name.
10. Lord, open to them by your power, international doors, big business connections, so they may have more than enough to give willingly to your work, in Jesus’ name.
Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters. (Isaiah 43:16, KJV)
11. Lord, I call for money, I call for the angel called money to go to work in the strength of the Holy Ghost in the finances of every member of this church (that you have given the willingness to build), for increase and multiplication, in Jesus’ name.
12. Father, anoint and give us more ability to make and create wealth, in Jesus’ name.
13. Open the eyes of all involved to resources (tapped and untapped) that you have put within them and around them and give them the grace to harness and make gains of the resources, in Jesus’ name.
I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. (Isaiah 45:2-3, KJV)
14. Lord, as we build, I declare there shall be no loss, no distractions; I stop the hand of Satan and his forces of wickedness from interfering with the work, in Jesus’ name.
And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship. (Acts 27:22, KJV)
15. I pray that discord and disunity will not survive and thrive among us. We started in faith, power and unity, and we will finish that way, stronger and better, in Jesus’ name.
And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. (Genesis 11:6, KJV)
16. Help every member involved to see and know that this church project is theirs and ours, it not the pastor’s, it is God’s and everybody's’ in Jesus’ name.
Therefore, he said unto Judah, let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars, while the land is yet before us; because we have sought the LORD our God, we have sought him, and he hath given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered. (2 Chronicles 14:7, KJV)
17. Lord, I declare that the project shall never be halted by lack of funds, no, we receive full supply on the go, constant supply of funds and resources at every step of the way until finish, in Jesus’ name.
And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered. (2 Chronicles 31:21, KJV)
18. Lord, we ask that you inspire them with creativity, creative abilities from the Holy Spirit of grace and glory, in Jesus’ name.
And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it. (Exodus 36:2, KJV)
19. Father, I pray that you raise for us more hands, help within and without to get the job of building your house done in good time, in Jesus’ name.
And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease. (Numbers 11:25, KJV)
20. Send us help from above, send us help from abroad, send us help from within the nations, in Jesus’ name.
21. Lord, give us the gift of people, resourceful men and women to further help the work in Jesus’ name.
22. We ask for more grace, I ask for more grace, more abilities on your people for the work, in Jesus’ name.

23. Give angelic aid, supernatural interventions that even non-Christians will be urged and inspired by your power to give and support the building of your house, Lord, in Jesus’ name.

1. 2 Corinthians 8:9. Our Lord Jesus Christ, I appreciate You for Your amazing love that You became poor that I might be rich. You have given me dominion over poverty in all ramifications. The yoke and power of poverty is broken over my life and family. I have dominion over whatever promotes poverty.
2. Lord, give me total victory over every human weakness and ignorance that promotes poverty.
3. Lord, usher me into an era of unfinishable supply from heaven.
4. Lord, cause me and my family to enjoy divine blessing in abundance and beyond measure.
5. Lord, cause us to enjoy supernatural supply, contrary to the prevailing economic factors in the world or in my country.
6. Heavenly Father, help us enjoy Your commanded and unsolicited blessings regularly and abundantly.
